The four-year programme of B.Ed. (Hons.) (Secondary) has also been initiated to provide intensive training and a rich experience to candidates who want to pursue a professional degree in teaching and possess a deep commitment to this profession.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • FA/F.Sc / A level or equivalent with minimum 2nd Division
  • FA/F.Sc / A level with school subjects

LENGTH OF PROGRAMME

The four-year B.Ed. (Hons.) (Secondary) programme is  124-136 credit hours’ course and is composed of eight semesters of 16-18 weeks each.

ATTENDANCE

80% attendance is essential

HOW ARE YOU ASSESSED?

Summative assessment will include mid-term and end-of-semester examination.  Formative assessment consists of assignments, project work, presentations, microteaching, class tests , term papers and class participation.
